A description is given of a novel type of roller table for rod-shaped stock, such as shafts, tubes or the like, for feeding or removing the stock to or from machine tools working the latter, such as descaling, straightening, polishing machines or the like, having individual rollers supporting the stock, in which the supporting rollers (11) are supported individually on a respective support (2) and are individually vertically adjustable, preferably pneumatically or hydraulically, in a controlled manner. As a result, even stock with a so-called sabre bend can be supported in the roller table (1) over its entire length by the individual supporting rollers (11) and when a pivoting moment is exerted on one end of this stock (8), e.g. by feed rollers (7) of a feed device (3) of a machine tool (4), the supporting rollers (1) can yield in the upward or downward direction.
