For the purpose of improved trimming features, facilitated handling and extended usability of a sail for a windsurfing craft, a wishbone-boom fastening is proposed according to the invention, in which a locating element is provided which bears over an area against the mast, can be releasably fastened to the mast and has a holder which supports the wishbone boom in a stable position transversely to the longitudinal axis of the mast.
