The invention relates to a safety boot made of rubber or rubber-like material with or without a built-in toecap made of metal or similar resistant material with a boot zone as an instep protection, shin protection and cut protection. The essential feature of this safety boot is that an additional safety zone consisting of a covering of adequate thickness is located in the region of the heel and tenon and that the two protective zones consist of a rubber mixture vulcanised or adhesively bonded onto the boot.
