The television transparency viewer (DTB) enables transparencies to be viewed on the screen of any commercial television set. The DTB can be located stationarily directly underneath the television set. The DTB consists of three mains parts: the transparency projector (a), the pick-up optics (b) and the transportation system. The transportation system consists of 19 loading areas on which in each case a cassette containing 25 transparencies can be accommodated. The loading capacity is thus 475 transparencies. The cassettes are inserted individually via the loading flap (d) at the front of the DTB. The transportation system moves any desired cassette to the projector slide-in device (e). From this cassette, the desired transparency can then be moved into the projector slide-in device. The transparency projector accepts the transparency and images it side-reversed on a screen (1) in front of the transparency projector objective. The pick-up optics pick up the image side-correct from the other side of the screen and transmit it. When the pick-up optics are aligned for direct image pick-up, the screen is omitted.
