The automatic balancing device contains an annular chamber (1) which is mounted on a rotor (3) and partially filled with a viscous liquid (5). Balancing elements in the shape of balls (8) are located in the chamber (1). Mounted on the outer wall of the chamber (1) on the inside thereof are two rings (5) having an axial spacing (10) between them. The axial spacing (10) is smaller than the size of the balancing elements. The inner surfaces of their rings (5) are constructed conically and face the axial spacing (10) with their larger radius. <IMAGE>
