HERBICIDAL COMPOSITION USABLE IN PADDY FIELDS

Herbicidal compn. contg. 1-(3-methylphenyl)-5-phenyl-1H-1,2, 4,- triazole-3-carbamide(I) and 2-chloro-2',6'-diethyl-N-(npropoxyethyl) acetate anillide(A) was prepd. Thus, a mixt. of compd. I (5parts), compd. A (2parts), bentonite (35parts), talc (55parts), lignin-sodium sulfonate (1part), and dioxthylsulfosuccinate (1part) was mixed with an appropriate amount of water and then the mixt. was dried and shaped to give granules. This compsn. exhibits synergistic herbicidal effects against various weeds in paddy field. This compsn. (10ml as aq. soln./pot) has 100% herbicidal effect against Echinochola crusgalli after 8days of application and has no biohazard ainst Oryza sativa.
