The solar collector takes in heat by absorption and by a greenhouse effect. The optical concentrator is an undulating glass covering above the captor whose undulations are arranged in the direction of the roof tiles, with which they harmonise. The curves are exposed perpendicular to the mean zenith plane and concentrate solar flux in lines focused continuously on the network of heat carrying fluid conduits. The conduits are metal tubes, placed at the focal point of the curved concentrators and each has a basket handle section of a size proportional of the suns daily sweep.
|
