<p>A valve device including a valve casing (1) having at least three ports (2, 3, 4), two of which (2, 3) forming a 90 degrees angle relative to one another and each one having a valve (5, 6), one of the valves (5) being held in an open position when the other valve (6) is held in its closed position, and vice versa. The valves are designed as a plane slide valve (6) and a wedge-gate valve (5), respectively, both being simultaneously controllable by a common operative spindle (7) being capable of rotating the plane slide valve (6) and axially affecting the wedge-gate valve (5) as well, for instance via an eccentric (8). The wedge-gate valve (5) consists of a wedge member (10) which is held in its closed position by means of a spring biased release wedge member (12).</p> |
