A profile for snap-connecting a fastening element is designed to be anchored on a support 1, preferably a window frame or window sill, and has at least one grip portion 3b for snap-connecting the fastening element 4 in such a manner that the latter bears directly or indirectly against at least one member 2, preferably a window pane, which is to be secured.
