1. Directional control valve having a longitudinally moveable control spool (13) in a housing (11), with it being possible for the impulses which actuate the control spool (13) of the directional control valve to be delivered in accordance with different operating modes such as, for example, control fluid supply from the internal pressure supply or externally via a separate control connection (26, 27), - and in which the housing (11) has longitudinal channels (41, 43, 45, 51, 53) which lead into end faces (15, 17) of the housing (11), - and the end faces (15, 17) are covered by covers which have several cover channels (95, 96, 99), - and the housing (11) has a base face (19) having the operating connections (21 to 25), with which base face (19) it can be flanged on to another machine part having allocated pressure medium connections, characterized in that - a control face (28) is made at the housing (11) on the side located opposite the base face (19), against which control face (28) sits a control plate (14), - at least one longitudinal channel (43) opening into the end face (15) of the housing (11) is connected to a control channel (29) which has a groove-shaped portion (31) open towards the control face (28), - in the control face (28), one of the openings (37, 38) allocated to the internal control fluid supply and one of the openings (37, 38) allocated to the external control fluid supply is arranged in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the control spool (13) and diametrically to the groove-shaped portion (31) of the control channel (29), - a toroidal seal (63) inserted between the control face (28) and the control plate (14) seals the openings (37, 38) and the groove-shaped portion (31), - the toroidal seal (63) has a sealing cord part (77) which, by the installation of the toroidal seal (63) in two different installation positions, assumes the switching function for internal or external control fluid supply, - and a safety lobe (83) is fixed on the sealing cord part (77), which safety lobe (83), in both installation positions of the toroidal seal (63), grips into allocated recesses (68, 69) of the control plate (14). |
