PURPOSE:To reduce the number of times of reciprocation of an optical system to improve durability, to reduce the noise and eliminate copying error by having plural originals copied on separate copying sheets associated with respective originals by each reciprocation of an optical system. CONSTITUTION:The copying machine is formed by a copying machine proper 3 and an automatic original feed device 4. The automatic original feed device 4 itself is formed by an original tray 22 for placing a bundle of originals a feed start roll R0 for contacting with or separating from the uppermost original D placed on the tray 22 to control the feeding of the originals, a double feed inhibit roll R1 to inhibit double feeding of original, a original transport belt B pressured onto the upper surface of an original platen 2 to cause the original to slide on the upper surface of the table 2 and an inversion transport device 24 for transporting the copied originals to an original stock position. |
