PURPOSE:To prevent a malfunction by removing an electrifying charge with a destaticizing brush. CONSTITUTION:An IC card 1 is inserted into the card inserting port 21 of an IC card handling machine. Then, the IC card 1 is transported on a transporting path 31 by a transporting roller 32 and fetched into an IC card reading writing part 20. When the IC card is faced to a destaticizing brush 35, the brush contacts with the IC card 1 and the terminal, the accumulated static electricity (electrifying charge) is discharged through the destaticizing brush 35 and as the result, the card is removed. After this, the IC card is transported on the transporting path 31 and faced to a reading writing device 34. At such a time, respective terminals of the IC card contact with respective terminals of the reading writing device 34 and as the result, electrically connected. |
