PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission system capable of, when a failure occurs in one transmitter in a transmission system having two or more transmitters, appropriately switching the transmitter to the other transmitter.SOLUTION: A transmission system 1 includes a first transmitter 10A and a second transmitter 10B respectively having modulators 101A, 101B for generating and outputting a modulation signal corresponding to an input signal; oscillators 105A, 105B for outputting a local signal which oscillates at a predetermined frequency; amplifiers 106A, 106B for amplifying a signal for transmission obtained by superimposing the modulation signal on the local signal; and monitoring parts 110A, 110B for monitoring the amplified signal for transmission. The monitoring part 110B of the second transmitter 10B monitors the signal for transmission amplified by the amplifier 106A of the first transmitter 10A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
