PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which enables a high functional portable terminal owned by a library user to be used for searching through a database in a book management personal computer of a library and acquiring information supplied by the library.SOLUTION: The following items are registered in a database 9 of a book management personal computer 8: book information and shelf location information of books stored in a library; matrix type two dimensional codes 10 converted from the registered book information and shelf location information; and images of book covers, taken by using a camera function of a high functional portable terminal 7 of a book manager, associated with the matrix type two dimensional codes 10. A library user searches the book information, the shelf location information and cover image information with the high functional portable terminal 15 thereof by connecting the same to the database 9, saves the matrix type two dimensional codes 10 in the high functional portable terminal 15 thereof, and acquires information supplied by the library using a beacon terminal 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
