PURPOSE:To prevent the invasion of wager into a disk by providing a continuous layer consisting of a water repellent having a >=90 deg. contact angle with the water between a substrate and a spacer in order to shield an internal space from the open air. CONSTITUTION:Two discoid substrates 1a and 1b contain undercoating or pregroup layers 8a and 8b and recording layers 2a and 2b respectively. Both substrates 1a and 1b are bonded directly to annular inside and outside spacers 5 and 6 via adhesives 3a, 3b, 3c and 3d. Thus an air sandwich space 7 is formed. In addition, the sealing agents 4a, 4b, 4c and 4d are provided between both substrates and the spacer 5. While the repellent layers 9a, 9b, 9c and 9d are provided to the spacer 5, said sealing agents and the surfaces of both substrates. Thus the invasion of water into the disk can be avoided. Here the contact angle with the repellent is set at >=90 deg. to the water.
