<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the running cost and to eliminate requirement for a cooler by installing a heat pump for heating air for regeneration using the air at the dehumidified air side as heat source, installing also an evaporator for exchanging heat with the dehumidified air and a condenser for exchanging heat with the regenerated air. CONSTITUTION:Wet air (e) discharged from a drying chamber (or an air conditioning chamber) 11 is dehydrated by passing through a honeycomb rotor 12 comprising plates contg. an absorbent such as LiCl or an adsorbent such as active carbon, and transferred to the drying chamber 11 after cooling in an evaporator 20 of a heat pump. The rotor 12 having absorbed or adsorbed the moisture is transferred to the passage of regenerated air by turning and regenerated by the air (e) at high temp. and low humidity discharged from an auxiliary heater 25. The heat in the exhaust air (f) after regeneration is transmitted to the sucked air in a heat exchanger 24 and liberated. The air for regeneration (h) is heated in the heat exchanger 24, heated further in a condenser 18 of the heat pump, heated also in the auxiliary heater 25 and transferred to the rotor 12.</p> |
