<p>PURPOSE:To reduce running cost of a dehumidifying device by providing a heat pump in the device and exchanging the heat of the air before the regeneration of the absorbent or adsorbent with the air after the regeneration of both respectively in a condenser and an evaporator of the heat pump. CONSTITUTION:Wet air (d) discharged from a drying chamber (or an air conditioning chamber) 11 is cooled in a color 28, then dehydrated by passing through a honeycomb rotor 12 contg. an absorbent such as LiCl, etc., or an adsorbent such as active carbon, cooled further in an evaporator 20 of a heat pump and transferred to the drying chamber 11. The honeycomb rotor 12 having absorbed or adsorbed moisture is transferred by turning to the passage of the regenerated air and the moisture in the honeycomb rotor 12 is desorbed by the air at high temp. and low humidity (e) discharged from a condenser 14 of the heat pump. The air (f) at low temp. and high humidity after regeneration is cooled in a heat exchanger 21, dehumidified by cooling in an evaporator 16 of the heat pump, heated in the heat exchanger 21 through a fan 22, exchanging the heat in a condenser 18, 14 through a damper 25 to elevate the temp. and circulated to the rotor 12.</p> |
