<p>A magnetic recording medium, which comprises a non-magnetizable substrate having formed thereon a magnetizable layer composed of up to 13 wt % of one or more rare earth elements of Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb, and Dy, 3 to 13 wt % of oxygen, and the balance of Co and unavoidable impurities. The magnetizable layer may contain up to 22 wt % of Ni. This magnetic recording medium has excellent corrosion resistance and excellent magnetic properties.</p> |
