PURPOSE:To inform an occurrence of failure in data conversion by inhibiting a response signal to the opposite data transmission equipment on a control bus when the said equipment falls unable to convert data as assuming the said equipment as a data converter. CONSTITUTION:When a state that the data transmitted from a data converter 2 through a channel device CH1 is not received, occurs, the transmission data from an I/O equipment 3 becomes overflow data against data converters 4-10. The converter 2 controls to prohibit the overflow-data signals among the response signals to the I/O equipment 3. The equipment 3 at all time supervises these response signals, and if unable to receive them for a determined time, decides it to be an error. The equipment 3 then issues an error information to the data bus 14 by means of normal end-report sequence, and transmits the end-report information to a CH1 through control lines 16 and 15 in order to report the failure of data transmission. |
