PURPOSE:To enable the high-density recording on a medium by forming a nonmagnetic thin film on the bottom surface side of a magnetic head to be faced with a magnetic medium thin film. CONSTITUTION:A slider head 6 is formed with a nonmagnetic substance such as 'Fotoceram(R)' having a cylindrical cross section and a sectorial cavity 3 is previously bored through a part of the bottom surface of the head 6. A magnetic core 1 is obtained by sintering and molding the compact of magnetic powder of Mn-Zn ferrite, etc., the molded core 1 is embedded and fixed in the cylindrical 'Fotoceram(R)' to separate the 'Fotoceram(R)' into the upper and the lower part which are symmetrical to the axis B-B. The surface 7 of the assembly of the slider head 6 and the ferrite core 1 to be faced with a disk is coated in about 0.1mum thickness with the sputtered thin film 4 of a nonmagnetic substance such as SiO2. |
