Parent patent mould produced foamed polymer adapter blocks with holes for pressure medium, namely surface channels connected by holes through at right angles. In this addn. the mould pins are now used as inserts, the mould can have multiple impressions ie. produce several blocks at once. Polyurethane is pref. used for the foam. The method eliminates problems of the parent invention e.g. excessive pressure on the ribs to mould the surface channels, or encapsulation of the ends of the pins; visual inspection is enough, the method eliminates need for perforated plates for locating the pins.
