发明名称 HEAT SENSITIVE TRANSFER MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable a high density and clear printing even on a surface of a recording medium which lacks smoothness, by providing the first and third layers that are dense and contain thermoplastic material, and the second layer which is porous and contains thermoplastic material, and has a fusion viscosity larger than those of the first and third layers. CONSTITUTION:A heat sensitive transfer material 1 is provided with a heat transfer type ink layer 3, on a substrate 2; in sequence from the side of the substrate, consisting of the first layer 3' of dense substance, the second layer 3'' of porous substance and the third layer 3'''of dense substance, respectively containing thermoplastic material. If the porous layer 3'' of a dot portion is fusion bonded by an energy applied from a thermal head etc., the strength of the energy applied portion of the dots increases, and a difference in strength from the portion of the ink layer 3 where the energy is not applied is generated. In addition, since the layer 3' has a smaller fusion viscosity, a release of the substrate 2 from the whole of the ink layer 3 of the dot portion where the energy is applied is accelerated. Further, because of the smaller fusion viscosity of the layer 3''', like the layer 3', an adhesion force to the recording medium 4 is easily generated, and it helps transferring of the whole of the energy applied portion of dots of the ink layer 3. By these thermal behavior at the period of heat application, a transferring is carried out onto the recording medium 4 which is not smooth.
