PURPOSE:To avoid the trouble occurring when handling a registering machine, by performing the reading again by a magnetic head in case when the read information of at least one block is decided wrong as a result of checking of a bankbook having several blocks of the magnetic storing part. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic storing part provided to a bankbook includes the storing regions of N blocks (N: >=2 interger), and the same information is stored in each storing region. And the bankbook is returned only when all checks of the information read by a magnetic head are decided correct with each block. In this case, the reading is performed again by the magnetic head when the read information of at least a block is decided wrong. At the same time, the read information is checked at a lower level than the preceding check. Then the bankbook is returned in case when the information is decided correct at every block based on the result of check. |
