The invention relates to novel triazolylquinoline derivatives and acid addition salts thereof (in which R<1> is hydrogen, methyl, trihalogenomethyl or carboxyl; R<2> is hydrogen, halogen, C1-4-alkyl, hydroxyl, C1-4- alkoxy, phenoxy, amino, acetamino, C1-4-dialkylamino, acetyl, benzoyl, methylthio, carboxyl, cyano, ethoxycarbonyl, nitro or trihalogenomethyl; R<3> denotes hydrogen, C1-4-alkyl or C1-4-alkoxy; R<4> represents hydrogen, methyl or ethyl and X represents a valence bond or -S-). The novel compounds having the general formula I <IMAGE> have a valuable analgesic, anti-inflammatory and fungicidal effect and can be used both in therapy and in agriculture.
