The invention relates to a process for the packaging of tubes which have a tube seam and which are dispensed from a tube-filling machine in the filled and closed state. The tubes, coming from the tube-filling machine, are oriented at the same angle ( alpha ) in respect of the tube seam in an orienting station and are positioned in supporting members which hold the tubes upright and which, whilst maintaining the same orientation of the tube seams relative to one another, transport them into a packaging station, in which the tubes are grasped by a gripping device, lifted out of the supporting members and placed upright in receiving devices of pallets. <IMAGE>
