The present invention relates to a prefabricated car bodywork element, intended to be used for a brand new or old bodywork. The parts 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 of a vehicle bodywork 10, which it is desired to protect against corrosion, are covered with prefabricated elements made from reinforced polyester resin and adhesively bonded by means of a resin against the corresponding parts of the bodywork to be protected.
