Rolling head for a planetary skew-rolling mill with a roll-carrying shaft 9 mounted at an angle to the direction of rolling. The roll-supporting end of this roll-supporting shaft 9 is supported by a radial bearing 16 and a thrust bearing 17 and carries a taper roll 19 which can be mounted in an overhung manner. The roll-supporting shaft 9 can be adjusted in the axial direction with the thrust bearing 17. The other end of the roll-supporting shaft 9 is seated, likewise in axially displaceable fashion, in a driving bevel gear 8 which is supported in the rolling-head housing 13. That annular end face of the thrust bearing 17 which faces away from the tapered roll 19 can be pressurized counter to the action of a spring 35 supporting the roll-supporting shaft, via a supporting ring 17a, by an annular adjusting element. The annular adjusting element is designed as a hydraulically pressurizable and positionable annular piston 31. <IMAGE>
