PURPOSE:To decrease temperature in drying and shorten drying time by immersing plates washed with water after impregnation or formation in strongly volatile organic solvent such as alcohol to replace water with organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:24 anode plates each of which a specified amount of partial charge is performed are placed in a rack and washed with water, then immersed in ethanol which has low boiling point and is water soluble for 10min. During immersion, air bubbling is applied to increase replacement effect. After immersion, plates placed in 10 racks are placed in a dryer for drying with hot air and dried at 60 deg.C. Drying time is shortened to about 30min at 60 deg.C compared to conventional process requiring 1.5-2 houra at 100 deg.C. |
