PURPOSE:To prevent a customer from being waited for too long due to execution of a schedule function, by discriminating an operating state of each data processor, designating other data processor in accordance with a result of discrimination, and executing a specified function. CONSTITUTION:To a master side electronic cash register ECR 1, plural sets of slave side ECRs 3 are connected through a line 2, and between each ECR, transmission and reception of data can be executed. In this case, fundamentally, the contents of a schedule are executed by the ECR 1, but in case of a specified case in which it cannot be executed, the schedule executing right is transferred to the ECR 3. In the event of a specified case in which even the transferred ECR 3 cannot execute it, the schedule executing right is transferred to said ECR 3 to other ECR 3. In this way, the schedule executing right is transferred successively to the ECR 3,and when the ECR 3 being in an executable state has been retrieved, the schedule is executed by its ECR 3. |
