The invention relates to a goods-handling support device of the pallet type, divisible into two elementary parts, comprising median blocks 2, used for assembling two half-pallets into a single support characterised in that the said blocks 2 are weakened at two places 4 and 3, thus constituting two fixed zones 7 and 9, each on one of the two half-pallets, and a mobile zone 8 which drops out as a lost part after separation of the said half-pallets. According to the invention, the characteristic of the median blocks 2, allows the placing at the ends of the device of blocks 1, to form solid support points when the device serves as a shelf in storage warehouses, without by so doing preventing access to the small side of the pallet after division using fork-lift trucks. <IMAGE>
