Double row self-aligning roller bearing

The plastics agcage (6) for a double row self aligning roller bearing has radial arms between ring shaped parts of the cage which support the ends of the rollers. Between the two rows of rollers is a flange (10) which extends upwards towards the inside surface of the outer race and which has equally spaced rounded openings (11) extending from its edge. The number of openings is equal to the number of rollers in a row. The openings align with the connecting arms, and the remaining flange portions (10') align with the spaces between. Each opening has sloping sides.
