PROCESS FOR POLYMER PRODUCTION A process is provided for the production of polymers of reduced molecular weight by subjecting a polymer in bulk form to mastication while exposing the masticated polymer to an atmosphere containing ozone. Such reduced molecular weight polymers may be used in caulks and sealants, as rubber processing aids and as asphalt additives. |
