In the wide-angle hinge, two double-armed links are mounted rotatably about a common axis. One link is displaceable at one end on a longitudinal guide and at the other end is articulated on the wing hinge part, whilst the other link is articulated on the frame hinge part and with its other link arm is connected in an articulated manner to the wing hinge part by means of an intermediate link. The longitudinal guide (10), in the position of the linkage (6) in which the wing hinge part (5) is pivoted out into a position parallel to the frame hinge part (3), extends at a downward inclination (17) in the direction of the frame hinge part (3), until the wing hinge part (5) has reached its largest pivot angle. <IMAGE>
