Furniture made from solid wood with rounded corners. the invention relates to the manufacture of furniture one of the main characteristics of which is the shape with rounded corners 1. The other characteristic being the assembly, between the body 2 and the front and rear frames 3, which is formed with the aid of a groove 4, in the perimeter of the body, of cross-section equal to the thickness of the frames. An operational clearance of 1 mm being left 5 between the frame at the bottom of the groove. The said frames are slid into this groove without being bonded so as to remain independent of the body of the furniture and to allow the rounded parts, made from solid wood, to be able to "play" according to the hygrometric reading of the air and to avoid any risk of deformation or cracks. <IMAGE>
