PURPOSE:To permit good discharge of chips by adding ultrasonic vibration to a grinding stone through electrification of a conductive machining grindstone placed in electrolytic liquid and making machining while rotating the grinding stone and abutting it to the machining grindstone. CONSTITUTION:Through actuation of a motor 4, a machining grindstone 11 is ground by a grinding stone 1 and direct voltage is applied between electrolytic 9 which passes through the passage 5 of a spindle 3 and the machining grindstone 11. Next, carbon and metal are stuck to the machining grindstone 11 through action of electrolytic current, then truing and dressing are made. Furthermore, in case the system giving ultrasonic vibration is used, a ultrasonic transducer 3-2 is vibrated by an ultrasonic oscillator 3-5. This produces such effects that in truing and dressing, a resistance is small due to ultrasonic vibration and cavitation and discharge of chips can be improved. |
