Luminaire frame

Fastening the profiled strips (11, 12) to a corner piece (14) of a luminaire frame is performed exclusively by lugs (15) of the profiled strips. These lugs (15) are bent around the walls of the limbs (17) on the corner piece (14) and recessed into depressions (19). Each lug (15) has a rear sloping edge (15a) which interacts with a clamping surface (20) of the depression (19) when the face end of the profiled strip abuts a stop (21) of the corner piece (14). A rattle-free and firm connection between the profiled strip and corner piece is achieved in this way. The corner piece has a channel (23) which is free from any projecting parts, with the result that leads can be guided through without hindrance.
