Sealing ring for a columnar body moving backwards and forwards in a wall opening, consisting of a main body of elastomer material which can be fixed in the wall opening and, in the region of the inner circumference, is provided with two opposite sealing lips projecting in the axial direction which bear under an elastic prestress on the body, the main body having an essentially square outline before installation and being provided on the inside with at least one scraper lip, which lies within the axial extent of the main body and, after installation, and in the event of an elastic prestress, bears on the body.
