PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound at a low cost without using heavy metals such as Cd, facilitating the separation and regeneration of catalyst and purification of the product, by impregnating glycerophosphorylcholine in an immobilized pyridine resin catalyst supported by a polymer and reacting the compound with a fatty acid anhydride. CONSTITUTION:Glycerophosphorylcholine is impregnated in an immobilized pyridine resin catalyst [preferably a compound of formula I-IV (R is main chain of crosslinked resin; X is phenylene or alkylene; R<1> is H or alkyl)] supported by a polymer and is made to react with a fatty acid anhydride (preferably a compound synthesized simultaneously from a fatty acid and a carbodiimide condensation agent in the production of phosphatidylcholine) to obtain the objective compound of formula V (R<3>CO is fatty acid residue).
