The controlled feed device has a feed tube (7) which extends downwards and its outlet (8) being some distance below water level. Compressed air is fed into the container (1) via a pipe (9) to produce sufficient pressure to the feed tube so that the water level in the latter is just above its lower mouthpiece (8). Inside the container, a vent pipe (12) can be installed to guarantee air supply to the feed tube, and for the possible removal of air from the foodstuff. |
