The subject of the present invention is a stop device for a moving panel of the type comprising an end-of-travel stop and several intermediate retention positions. According to the invention, this device comprises a hydraulic jack whose body 7-7a or 19 and to the rod of whose piston 8 or 23 are articulated, one to the panel 1 and the other to the structure 3 to which the panel 1 is articulated.
