PURPOSE:To execute the transposing of matrix data having the extension in a two-dimensional direction without depending upon a data processor by providing a matrix data processing means to execute a special processing to the matrix data based upon the command from the data processor and a memory means which comes to be the work area of the processing means. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is equipped with matrix data processing means 23 and 25 to execute a special processing to matrix data based upon the command from a data processor 1 and a memory means 26 which comes to be the work area of the processing means. The matrix data processing means reads the data from the file to store the equivalent matrix data designated by the CPU of a data processor to the memory means, and after transposing is executed, the data are stored to the designated file. Thus, the transposing of the matrix data having the extension in the two-dimensional direction like image data can be executed without without depending upon the data processor.
