发明名称 IMPROVED VALVE USING TITANIUM GROUP SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve tight contact and separation efficiency of a seat surface to completely prevent leak of internal fluid and allow recovery to the initial shape by employing titanium group shape memory alloy (TiNi alloy) in forming members of the seat surface between a valve member and a valve case. CONSTITUTION:A stop valve is composed of a valve case 1, a bonnet 2, a valve member 3 and a valve stem 4, and provided with a seat surface 5, a guide bush 8, a packing 10 and others. Members of the seat surface 5 between the valve case 1 and a valve member 3 are made of a titanium group shape memory alloy (TiNi alloy). The TiNi alloy is attached by deposition onto both surfaces (of the valve case 1 and the valve member 3) forming the seat surface 5, and the joint surfaces are finished by machining. This improves the tight contact and separation property of the seat surface 5, completely preventing leak of the internal fluid through the seat surface 5. Even if any obstacle is bitten in the seat surface 5, the initial shape can be recovered.
