PURPOSE:To perform sheet extending operations for multifarious types in a small lot unrestrictedly and speedily, by installing more than two pieces of support arms, supporting an original sheet in the horizontal direction, so as to jut out into a rectangular direction of the opposite direction to a sheet extending block. CONSTITUTION:A conveying truck 4 travels to a front side position of a rack truck 8' made up of supporting an original sheet to be extended in the next and performs the take it out and it is on standby there. To be concrete, the original sheet to be taken out is inputted into a microcomputer in advance, and supposing the original sheet to be taken out is situated in the second from the top of the rack truck 8', clutches 23 and 25 are turned to OFF. And, in constant with this, if another clutch 24 is turned to ON and a motor 19 is driven, the rack truck 8' travels as long as a specified distance to the left via a chain 12', whereby a sufficient space necessary for takeout operation of the conveying truck 4 between these rack trucks 8' and 8'' is formed there. When the conveying truck 4 stops in this space, lift arms 4b and 4'b come to a spot little lower than a fulcrum position of the original sheet 11 which the rack truck 8' should take out, and it comes to a stop.
