DEPLOYABLE ANTENNA MESH REFLECTOR

A deployable antenna mesh reflector has a hub from which extend radial supporting ribs which support a metallic reflector mesh. Between each pair of supporting ribs is positioned one or more parasite ribs attached to the reflector mesh. The parasite ribs extend radially and are connected to the supporting ribs by tie wires. The tie wires can be adjusted in tension by suitable adjusters to thereby adjust the curvature of the mesh to the desired parabolic shape.
