<p>PURPOSE:To increase responsiveness for a displacement control, by providing a throttle valve means for controlling a quantity of refrigerant taken into an intake chamber and a spool valve for making a part of a compression stroke incapable by opening and closing a bypass passage. CONSTITUTION:A quantity of refrigerant taken into intake chambers 14F, 14R of a compressor is controlled by a throttle valve 33, the compressor having a piston 6, valve plates 7F, 7R and an inclined plate 9. A bypass passage comprising bypass holes communicating compression chambers 8F, 8R with an inclined plate chamber 5 and escape holes 28F, 28R controls a compression stroke by spool valves 29F, 29R for making a part of it incapable, whereby a spool can be operated securely regardless of a variation in temperature and responsiveness of a variable displacement mechanism can be increased.</p> |
