<p>A solid state power amplifier for driving a shaker. The amplifier is comprised of a circuit which generates a pulse-width modulated drive signal for driving an armature of a shaker. The circuit includes an oscillator (91) (92) (93), power supply (94-97) and (100-103), wave-shaping generator (98), error detection network (109), comparator modulator (116) (118) and drive amplifiers (121) (122). The oscillator generates a base waveform which is shaped by the wave-shaping generator. This signal is compared with error signals and the resulting signal is used to provide the pulse-width modulated driving signal to the shaker.</p> |
