The invention relates to the apparatuses which allow a search to be made for objects at the bottom of a well, fountain or pond, and at any location which is deep and not easily accessible. It is made up of two hinged jaws 1 in the form of a rake, having two lever arms 2 used for clamping when the tool is being raised; of two arms 3 enabling the jaws to be lowered in the open position and of two trellis frames 4 for small objects. <IMAGE>
