The display stand comprises a vertical foot 7 which is surmounted by a display carrying element constituted by three panels 1, 2 arranged so as to form, in horizontal section, an equilateral triangle. The panels 1, 2 are of dimensions appropriate to accommodate displays of 60 x 160 cm format, resulting in a display stand of small overall size. The foot 7 comprises, on its periphery, a circular receptacle 8 in the form of a basket designed to accommodate flower planting. The display stand is particularly adapted to be used in the urban situation. <IMAGE>
