PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information specification program and an information specification method that can automatically specify an issuer of a document from image data corresponding to the details of printing on the document.SOLUTION: A CPU receives and acquires image data of a receipt image (S1). The CPU 10 executes known OCR processing to acquire text data from the received image data (S2). The CPU searches for and extracts a character string indicating a telephone number in the text data (S4). The CPU transmits the extracted telephone number to a position information service server (S6). When receiving an XML file including effective position information corresponding to an HTTP request (S7: YES), the CPU analyzes the XML file and specifies the name of a shop that is an issuer of a receipt 110 and corresponds to the position information (S11, S13).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
