The heatable cake knife is primarily used in the foodstuffs sector (bakeries, cake shops etc.). The heated blade makes the clean cutting of emulsions, confectioneries and baked goods possible. Continuous working is made possible by the constant reheating. To date, conventional knives were used which had to be constantly reheated. The heatable cake knife is essentially composed of an electric control and regulation unit, to which the knife is connected by means of a cable. The knife blade is inherently heated. As the knife is used in a humid atmosphere, low voltages are used, which are generated in the control and regulation unit.
